The Prefect, Mr. Kostas Agorastos, made an in person visit accompanied by the deputy Prefect Miss Rena Karalaritou.
The budget of this work is 11 million euros and is financed by national resources. The aim of the project is the reception of facts and regulating water basin of the river and those that will come from the transfer of water from the upper reaches of the Achelous to Thessaly. He still aim to supply through gravity reservoir Karla with winter waters of the river Peneus.
